Teddy is a young dachshund cross who urgently needs a foster home, or a foster home with a view to adoption.
He is a lovely little dog who bonds strongly with his humans and wants to be with them most, if not all, of the time. Because of this, he does have separation anxiety and will need a home that is willing to work on this slowly and kindly.
Teddy is looking for an only-pet home. He may also be suitable for a home where any resident dogs can be kept completely separate indoors, for example with a stair gate across a doorway. He can be fine with dogs out on walks once he knows them, but he may bark at other dogs when he first sees them.
He can also be nervous of new people at first, so he will need someone patient who is happy to give him time and not rush him.
Teddy needs a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe and supported. He has lots of love to give, but he needs people who are prepared to help him build confidence over time.
Could you offer Teddy the foster home he urgently needs?
