Sherry is looking for a home

Sherry is a 14 week old (born 20th June) small female cross breed (see DNA test as last photo - main breed is pug). She does have a cherry eye.

She’s a confident, friendly and very happy pup who will make you smile with her antics every day! Check out the videos in the comments.

Dogs - yes

Cats - yes, if they are used to dogs

Kids - yes, if they know how to interact positively with dogs

She’s currently in Jersey in a foster home where she is doing amazing - house and crate training are both pretty much there.

Chewing is definitely in full swing! This will need ongoing redirection and management including removing / restricting access to hazards such as wires or items which could be dangerous for her and offering lots of suitable alternatives!

She has been going to work with her foster mum and is happy to socialise with other humans and / or dogs.

She travels well in the car (in a crate).

She can currently do 15 minute walks 1-2 times a day. As she gets older this will be able to increase.

She can be left for 1-2 hours at present in her crate and this could be built up as she gets older.

Sherry currently sleeps through the night in her own crate in the human bedroom.

Her days are spent socialising, playing, eating and snoozing as with many pups and she will need someone with patience, time and love to guide her.

In addition to our minimum adoption fee of £400, homes will be asked for an additional £500 which is the price of spaying Sherry once she is old enough at our vets (Jersey Village Vets). Once Sherry has been spayed, we will return 50% (£250) to the new home.

We will also require Sherry and her new home to attend puppy training classes with Confident Canine (or a mutually agreed training provider / private approach).

If you think you can offer Sherry her forever home (hopefully the next 15-20 years!) please fill out an application form!
