Introducing our 2-3 year old pug-a-licious girl Coco. She's a real character and full of sass, you can't help but smile when you're in her company.
Coco is currently in kennels in the UK and we really want to see her in a home. After her spay she had recovery time in a home environment and very much needed reminders on the toilet front. So whilst she is mostly clean in kennels we will assume she will need help with toilet training once she's in a home. A secure garden will be required for her.
We think Coco has had a relatively sheltered life and could do with more socialising.
She feels the need to have a pug style woof thinking she's a 40kg dog not 5kg when she first meets people! She soon gets over this and is your best mate.
She is fine socialising with other dogs but in the home she wants to be the human's best mate and isn't keen on sharing with another dog who is equally needy. She could potentially live with another calm, more independent dog bigger than she is.
Coco has had some exposure to cats and could possibly live with a confident cat. She thinks it's quite good fun to run after more timid cats if they bolt which wouldn't be fair.
Coco needs a home who are aware of the needs of brachycephalic dogs.
Whilst she enjoys her walks, she's not a candidate for long walks and temperatures will need to be considered.
Ideally her person is going to be around for much of the day.
She will need guidance and input and we don't feel a busy home with children is suitable for her. Whoever is willing to put the time and effort into helping Coco settle will have a little cracker.
Coco is neutered, vaccinated and parasite control up to date.
If you are interested in offering Coco a home, please read our adoption process on our website where you will also find an online application form
