Beau - On trial
 

Age: 8-9

Breed: Staffie X collie

Background: Came from England and found himself looking for a home due to bereavement.

 

Feeding: Is used to 2 meals a day of dried food. He is a slow eater and will sometimes choose to leave his food for the evening.

 

Sleeping: Sleeps downstairs in his crate with the door open.

 

Toilet training: He is housetrained, but in a new home he will need a few days to settle and build up being left as he will find this stressful any may mark as a result. With the use of a crate and incontinence band this is easily managed.

 

Walking/exercise: Beau loves his walks, he’s great off lead and loves a good play with his tennis ball.

 

Other dogs: He would prefer to be the only dog, though is currently in foster with other dogs. He does enjoy playing with the other dogs but it has to be a dog he knows and introduced to properly. He can be uneasy with dogs approaching and can be selective and is not so keen on bigger dogs and especially those that just bounce up to him/ approach him.

Beau does ignore dogs while out off lead and just wants to interact with his humans and have a play with his love  the - tennis ball!

 

Children: Will only be homed with children 12+, though he has been in the company of younger children that visit.

 

Cats: Has never lived with any and not tested.

 

Other information: Beau's fosterer says he is the sweetest lad who is very easy to have around. He's a fantastic chap who has tons of character and loves nothing more than his humans cuddles.
