Age:  6 years old.

Breed: Lurcher.

Location:  In foster in Jersey.

Feeding: 2 meals a day, dried biscuits. 

Sleeping: Sleeps in his own bed.

Toilet training:  Clean in the home. 

Walking/Exercise: Loves his walks, can be strong.

Children: 16+ no young children.

Other dogs: He’s in foster with and has lived with other dogs. Can react when he sees dogs out.

Cats: Will not be homed with cats..

About Todd

 

Todd is a loving and affectionate lad and will make a great addition to a family. He does have some specific requirements but we know the right home if out there.

​

He loves to run and can get quite giddy so would benefit from a secure enclosed garden. This is also the reason he will be homed to where there are  older children only. In his excitement he can nip when he plays. He would be too excitable to be around young children.

​

Todd is in foster and living with dogs, he could live with the right dog following a successful introduction and has been fine with both large and smaller dogs. He can be reactive towards some dogs when out on the lead.

​

Todd can be strong on lead and is better walked with a 2 point harness. . He will not be suitable to go off lead in unsecured areas.

Todd loves a good snooze and adores his sofa life after his adventures/walks.  Most importantly, Todd needs owners who will share their sofa with him and who enjoy LOTS of cuddles. He doesn’t know his own size and thinks he’s a lap dog!

Todd is housetrained he can be left for a period of time, but owners need to be aware that any time alone will need to be built up very gradually over several weeks. He may bark initially when left. He settles better in a crate or smaller area ie a hallway rather than having the run of the house. He is not suited to apartment living.
